B NOBLE, a social impact brand, has partnered with Greenbook Academy on a new social equity initiative offering 100 people free trimming and dispensary technician course grants to minorities in Florida. Greenbook Academy is a cannabis training and education hub known for its dynamic bilingual coursework.

The free courses are available in English and Spanish. The curriculum covers topics such as plant anatomy, cultivation, harvesting, quality control, dispensary operations, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

“We are thrilled to partner with B NOBLE to provide this unique opportunity for aspiring professionals in Florida,” Noemi Perez, founder of Greenbook Academy, said in a press release. “By offering these free course grants, we are breaking down barriers and creating pathways for individuals to enter and thrive in the cannabis industry.”

B NOBLE was co-founded by Bernard Noble, who served seven years in prison for the equivalent of two joints. His partner, artist Fab 5 Freddy, believes the grant initiative furthers the brand’s mission of restorative justice.

“We’re looking forward to being a part of providing educational opportunities in the cannabis industry for upcoming professionals in Florida,” Fab 5 Freddy said in the release.

Interested candidates 21 and up are encouraged to apply for the full course tuition grants online. The application period closes on August 27, and the grant recipients will be announced on August 30th. Classes commence on September 21.

Cannabis jobs are plentiful, but the right training can set people up for success. By offering free coursework in both English and Spanish, B NOBLE and brands like them are epitomizing what it means to create an equitable industry.
