Sauce Bursts review: follow directions with this cannabis product

Sauce Bursts review: Blurred image of cannabis leaves with a vibrant yellow and green gradient background. Concept of using marijuana in medicine and drugs.

Cannabis consumers come in many shapes and sizes. People only smoke flower, and others are die-hard edibles fans. Certain stoners only want to eat a couple of milligrams of THC at a time, while some patients require upwards of 50 milligrams to reach their desired effects. This posed an issue for many high-dose patients and consumers in California as the state set regulations for adult-use laws. One single package of edibles must contain no more than 10 milligrams (mg) of THC per serving, and, at most, 100 mg of THC in each package.

What came next was a beautiful array of decadent 10 mg gummies the size of traditional candies. This is a lot of fun for foodies who eat smaller doses, but, for the large-dose crowd–it can pose a problem. Someone who needs 50 to 100 mg may not want to house five to 10 candies in a sitting, no shade for those who do. Tinctures could be a solid alternative, but just because a person eats a lot of weed doesn’t mean they don’t want it in the form of a sugary candy.

For the crowd that wants to eat a lot of weed in one gummy morsel, there’s Bursts by Sauce.

All about Bursts by Sauce

Sauce is known for its disposable vapes, or Bars, available in the Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Oregon markets. The brand crafts beloved flavors like Gelato and brings back classics like Granddaddy Purple and White Widow.

Bursts run anywhere between eight and 15 dollars, and callback a different nostalgia with each chewy square of live resin THC-infused goodness. One square candy contains either 50 or 100 mg of THC, but before claiming “that’s too much for me,” each one is perfectly perforated into five mg pieces. Those pieces can easily be chopped in half to make a nicely sized microdose. The pieces rip off easily from one another.

These candies come in different doses based on the state. Sauce Bursts are branded as Gummy chews in California, Oregon, and Arizona, where packages contain two 50 mg candies. In Michigan, each square is 100 mg and pieces are dosed to 10 mg per bite. There are a few online listings that claim to be 200 mg, but Sauce does not carry products in this dose. The brand offers an easy verification process on its site to help consumers avoid imposters.

All states where Sauce is available have access to a bunch of flavors, like Blue Raspberry, Sour Blue Razz, Sour Grape, Sour Green Apple, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry Lemonade, Mystery Tropical Twist, White Peach, and Juicy Watermelon. The recipe uses natural flavors, organic cane sugar, and organic tapioca syrup.

The effects feel as though they begin to kick in almost immediately, but after 45 minutes the mindset is far more altered than that point. These intense effects seem to loosen their grasp around two hours after taking hold but might alter perception for hours longer depending on each individual person.

More THC, less sweet sugar

Those who need higher doses can rejoice now that this and similarly dosed Lost Farms gummy have hit their respective markets. Anyone who does not need that much can enjoy the smaller amount of cannabis available in the perforated pieces.

Cannabis legalization opens the door for product variety, and that is precisely what Burst Gummy Candy by Sauce provides. Higher dose with smaller volumes serves a particular clientele, and now there are multiple products at their fingertips.
