NWTN Home bubbler review: colossal clouds and flavor

New cannabis devices, glass, or other products rarely surprise me, but NWTN Home has successfully done it–twice. In my years as a stoner, I often think I’ve seen it all. That changed after I laid my eyes on the NWTN Home Art Deco gravity bong. Innovating a Millennial pastime that traditionally repurposes an old two-liter bottle and bucket into something fit for a well-appointed bar cart is genius. Well, the brand did it again.

The NWTN Home Bubbler is a new addition to the line inspired by crystal icons Waterford and Baccarat. Designer Justin Cohen utilized the same tech as the Gravity Bong predecessor but in a compact package. I am blessed to have a purple Gravity Bong and happily report that it delivers a crystal-clear hit in a gorgeous package. Now, it sits next to the Bubbler on my weed shelf, adding a distinct style that exudes class and all the flavor.
NWTN Home Bubbler Review
Like the Gravity Bongs, the Bubblers come in two types: Deco and Vesper. Deco has a textured ribbed glass edge, while the Vesper is rounded and smooth. Both come in Clear, Baltic Amber (brown), Emerald (green), or Charcoal (grey-black) colorways. Mix and match colors and styles with the two pieces to customize. I like my matching kit, though.
Each is composed of two pieces, a bowl and the base. The bowl is the same as the one used on the Gravity Bong. The base has a downstem on the top that descends into the water chamber below. There is a mouthpiece coming off the side.

To get started, I lifted the mouthpiece out, filled the base with water up to the slit in the downstem, and put the bowl piece back. Then, I packed it up with ground herb and lit it with a hemp wick. Once the chamber filled with smoke, I pulled the bowl out and inhaled.
It combines the tech of the Gravity Bong, but bubbler style. That means there is no need to slowly lift the chamber to let the smoke fill up like a grav bong, just let it bubble and pull to draw. The piece was easy to hit and delivered clarity in flavor. I felt the effects almost immediately without any big coughs or hot pulls. It was a positive experience all around.

The legal cannabis space has expanded into luxury, and NWTN fits the bill. These pieces fit in on a well-appointed bar rather than a dingy, ash-laden coffee table. This is the vibe as stoners like me age out of their college days into middle age. Even younger cannabis consumers live for the cute aesthetic era, and this new Bubbler is a valid addition to many well-appointed interiors.
I have been very intentional about the pieces I invite into my space these days, and the NWTN Home products both earn their spots on the shelf.
