One cannabis strain offers an entire dessert menu

the creamery strain

Not all sweet treats are for eating. The Creamery strain capitalizes on the best qualities of dessert weed for an easy-breezy, lasting high. These sweet flowers grew in popularity alongside Cookies as the brand released GSC crosses, many of which contribute to The Creamery. California-based Envy Genetics created the variety sometime in the last few years. It is a cross of Ice Cream Cake, Gelato 33, and Wedding Cake, with Blowpops, a cross of OG Kush and Sunset Sherbet.

I tried a batch of The Creamery grown by Root Down, a Spokane, Wash. cannabis company. The brand released its phenotype in March and has since introduced other varieties to the lineup. Let’s start with this wooded wonder, which has an unmistakable aroma.

How The Creamery strain smells, tastes, and looks

This cannabis variety has gorgeous buds and a distinct scent. It grows light green buds that may develop lavender or dark purple splotches. Tufts of orange hairs sprinkle the dense bulbed calyxes.

I broke the bud apart, and a smell I knew but couldn’t place filled the room. There are hints of wood, resin, pine, and lemon. All of that amounts to one thing: frankincense. It is uncanny how much this bud smelled like this common incense and perfume.

I vaped the flower in my Volcano and found it heavier on the wood and resin with tiny lemon. I enjoyed the smell and taste, but what I loved the most was how The Creamery strain made me feel.

I tried the Creamery strain

Those who love indica strains will not be able to get enough of The Creamery. My head muscles relaxed after vaping two bags of the variety. It felt as if I had just taken off a tight headband. I understand effects better through a bong rip, so I pulled that out next.

My eyes drooped almost immediately after one rip. Then, I was met with a new level of relaxation. At first, I thought my mind was still sharp despite my mellowed state, but then I zoned out for 10 minutes.

The Creamery offers exactly what I look for in a cannabis strain, but it may incapacitate someone more into high-energy sativa strains. I seek out weed that can force me to unwind, so this one is going on the list of dispensary shopping list go-tos.

Always accept a ticket to The Creamery

The Creamery is worth a rip. This relaxing weed variety made me feel mellow on stressful days and helped me get a good night’s sleep. There are many weed strains, and four great ones worked together to bring us this sweet variety. Though dessert cannabis like Gelato and Biscotti strain get more attention, there is no reason to turn up a nose to The Creamery strain.
