Weed waterpark takeover, party barge serve as final summer send-off

summer cannabis parties

Despite shorter days and changing leaves, there is still a whisper of summer left in the year. Those hoping to soak in those final moments will appreciate upcoming weed events where cannabis brands are taking to the water.

These parties span from a waterpark takeover in the southwest to a party barge in the Great Plains, complete with VIP suites. Before packing the bathing suits and flip flops into storage, think about one last hurrah in the sun at these events where weed is more than welcome.

Weedy waterpark takeover

Ever wondered what it would be like to blaze a fat joint while floating down a Lazy River on a comfortable inflatable? If so, you do not have to wonder for much longer. Take over Golfland Sunsplash waterpark with fellow weed lovers at CannaLand in Mesa, Ariz. September 29th.

Deep Stories is hosting the day rager. The entertainment company also hosts Safety Meeting seshes, Pregame dual consumption events, and Pot Roast comedy shows in the Grand Canyon State. CannaLand is a summer treat with a wave pool, arcade, and the ability to light up wherever. Guests can browse cannabis vendors and groove to DJs between mini golf, bumper boats, laser tag, and other nostalgic attractions.

This party promises a blast from the past with a 420-friendly twist. Those who visit the state for Errl Camp should stick around for CannaLand, and locals are sure to join in as the city reaches lower temps.

While Arizona stoners look forward to the water park, those in the Ozarks are heading to the lake.

Light up in Party Cove

Join cannabis companies and fans for Smoke on the Water this weekend on Lake of the Ozarks, complete with quality food and smoke. Timeless is sponsoring the 420-friendly barge, which will be docked at Party Cove. Brands Local Cannabis, GRON, Illicit, Rogue Green, and Vibe will be on board during the party, hosting various games and activations.

The Taco Bros are covering food on board, or guests can take the regularly scheduled pontoon shuttles to Backwater Jack’s, the home base on land. Though partygoers can not light up at the restaurant and swim-up bar, they can grab food and drinks. VIP guests will also start their weekend with an extra $100 to spend at the bar and grill.

Event tickets start at $30, with the option to book a stay at one of Backwater Jack’s rental properties for the VIP experience. The King-sized option has a private kitchen, while the queen-sized ones have a communal kitchen. Every VIP guest will have access to a private, chartered boat ride to the barge, get exclusive merch bags from participating weed brands, enjoy in-room breakfast on Saturday, drink tickets, and a $100 gift card to Backwater Jack’s.

Smoke on the Water is a welcome celebration for Missouri cannabis consumers as the industry grapples with recalls and lawsuits. This and Cannaland are excellent summer send-offs for the stoner communities nationwide.

Stoner summer transitions to flower fall after one last hurrah

Gathering in a community is one of the more novel parts of cannabis legalization, as many are used to hiding their consumption in the shadows. While expungement and public safety were first and foremost with cannabis reform, weed waterpark takeovers and pot party barges are a welcome addition.
