Streamers may have overtaken cable television, but that hasn’t stopped classic brands from making a comeback. One of the famed cable television events of the 1980s, Night Flight, is streaming now, and this time with help from a beloved cannabis company.

The original variety show spanned genres, with hours-long episodes with a disembodied voice narrating. Silly, informative, and fun segments split up feature films that were rarely shown on cable television at the time. Now, Night Flight Plus offers almost 1000 movies as a streaming platform and is giving away a month free to some lucky stoners.

Night Flight banded together with Saints Joints on the Seattle-based weed brand’s next art pack. Those who get one of the limited edition boxes can watch for a month at no charge.

“Night Flight was a big part of my childhood, connecting me with some of the most memorable music videos, band interviews, and unique, unconventional programming,” said Lawrence Perrigo, CEO and founder of Saints Joints, in a press release. “Our team is honored to release this collaboration and share Night Flight Plus with our customers.”

The Saints Night Flight pack will contain five joints in its most popular strains: Blueberry Margarita, Death Valley OG, Buffalo Tranquilizer, Lavender, and Black Mamba. As for the box, it will feature a nifty holographic television with the original Night Flight logo right in the middle.

Capture that QR code inside the pack for a month of free viewing–three weeks longer than the free trial offered on the site. Once in, watch classic comedies, thrillers, horror, and more, with titles like Reefer Madness, The Love Witch, and Dolemite. Saints hand-selected movies from the platform to pair with each joint, like I Drink Your Blood, Night of the Living Dead, AKA Tommy Chong, and more.

According to the Night Flight creator Stuart Shapiro, this brand partnership was a match made in heaven.

“We are stoked to team up with Saints Joints on these beautiful pre-roll packs. Between our shared love of cult classics, alternative culture, and cannabis, this collaboration was a no-brainer for the Night Flight Plus team,” Shapiro said.

The packs drop at undisclosed Washington dispensary locations on December 2nd and will be released to additional retailers one week later. Only 3000 boxes are going out into the world. Grab one while you can for four free weeks of classic films.

Lovers of weed and classic cinema can rejoice because Night Flight marries the two with this inventive marketing collaboration. This time, the Saints pack contains more than premium pot. There is also a month of free movies inside. For a limited time, entertainment can be baked into the weed of the evening.
