Revelry is back with a cannabis festival for New York, by New York. Comprising of an industry trade show and a Culture Festival, the two-day festival offers something for industry professionals and consumers alike.

Tomorrow, October 4th, is the highly-anticipated Buyers’ Club, an industry trade show for licensed operators only. The Revelry Buyers’ Club serves as a place for these businesses to grow their network, learn from thought leaders, and find footing in a hard-to-navigate industry.

Day two is open to all, provided you meet the age requirement. On Saturday, October 5th, anyone over 21 can mingle with big-name headliners and highly-regarded speakers in the cannabis scene. Tap into the New York City weed culture with everything from Brooklyn-based artists to live graffiti.

On The Revel is behind the weed festival. The community-driven cannabis company’s mission is to usher the robust New York legacy market into the licensed world. Revelry is a fun way for co-founders Lulu Tsui and Jacobi Holland to bring that goal to life.

“We are thrilled to host this two-day event, which not only highlights cutting-edge business advancements but also celebrates the rich cultural diversity of our community,” Holland said in a press release.

Enjoy the Revelry

The Revelry cannabis festival brings people to the industry to learn, play, and steep themselves in what the advocates behind the event believe is true New York cannabis culture.

“By featuring an eclectic mix of artistic performances, cultural speakers, art installations, and culinary rising stars from around New York, we aim to provide attendees with a sensory journey that celebrates the unique cultural tapestry of the state,” said Lulu Tsui, co-founder of On The Revel.

Musicians and speakers are set to rock the stage at Pier 39 in Lower Manhattan. Brooklyn-raised Joey BadA$$ and Kota the Friend will share a stage with Harlem-born tastemaker and DJ Odalys. Each act brings a quintessentially chill NY vibe matched by artists, entrepreneurs, and celebrities set to be in the mix.

Entrepreneur and radio show host Angela Yee is the keynote speaker. Yee hosts the radio show Way Up after previously co-hosting The Breakfast Club. She brings the fast-paced energy of the well-known morning show to Way Up with Angela Yee and pours into her neighborhood on her off days.

Yee is a New Yorker and community leader who focuses on bringing education and nutrition advocacy to her home borough of Brooklyn. She plans to engage in a down-to-earth conversation about the resiliency and diversity that makes New York exceptional at Revelry this year.

Meanwhile, Graffiti legend HEKTAD will paint live before auctioning off canvases for a non-profit. While the fine artist paints their iconic patterned hearts with curated drips, guests can connect with over 100 local cannabis brands.

Many smaller businesses without massive marketing budgets are thankful for Revelry.

“We’re a small upstate farm with a very small team, and Buyers’ Club is an opportunity to connect with dispensaries from all over the state,” Beck Rourke-Mooney, director of operations and sales of Supernaturals NY, said. “This is a chance to showcase our unique products and vibe.”

Cannabis lovers and brands appear equally stoked for the two-pronged fest, which showcases how the plant enriches NYC. Tap into the New York weed world this weekend at Revelry Culture Festival and maybe learn something, too.
