Cannabis strain champions an unusual trait

hash burger strain

Most people would not want a burger made of hash, but they should check out the Hash Burger strain. The savory foods of cannabis expand all the time with varieties like garlicky GMO and Donny Burger. Both are delightful for someone like me who seeks out a relief combo for anxiety, depression, and pain relief. After trying it out, Hash Burger joins the bunch of my savory faves with gas-forward flavor and satisfying effects.

It makes sense that Hash Burger joins those other strains as it is created by the same company: Skunkhouse Seeds. The genetics house is said to have been started by Skunkmasterflex and the Respect Family in 2016. These breeders isolate cannabis genetics with high potency and unique terpene profiles. Over time Skunkhouse has grown to be known as House of the Burger, and the Hash Burger strain is a part of that legacy.

Hash Burger comes from Han Solo Hash Plant and Double Burger, which have storied lineages. Han Solo Hash Plant has ancestors like Han Solo Burger, Black Triangle Kush, Larry OG, and GMO Cookies. Double Burger is a back cross of GMO. This one is a triple garlic, triple burger, but the general vibe is giving classic, high-quality OG.

Hash Burger smell, look, and taste

The Hash Burger strain has spear-shaped nugs with rounded calyxes. My batch from Root Down presented with bright green and dark purple buds. Each featured tan hairs throughout.

The aroma isn’t identical to a juicy hamburger, but it is unique. These aromatics are layered with scents of citronella and gas. This profile is reminiscent of classic OG Kush strains, and the flavor is too.

I like to vape dry herb to get the best view of the flavor, which is precisely what I did with Hash Burger. The Storz & Bickel Volcano bag tasted like hyssop and skunk, a combination that was herbaceous and acrid.

Effects of Hash Burger strain

Hash Burger feels like watching the sunset on a porch swing kind of vibes, chill and mindless. After hitting it on my bong I felt tingles arise in the back of my skull, slowly traveling to my muscles and joints. My body’s pain relaxed a bit. It did not hit like the full body tingle of Sunset Sherbet, but this aspect of the experience was totally noteworthy.

The variety shines in how it helps a person relax their mind. I was left numb and a bit dumb after enjoying a good helping of Hash Burger. This is welcome for me, as my brain is moving too quickly and in too many directions more often than not. While this is a good effect for me, some may not want to try a variety that causes them to lose focus. This is not the most functional indica strain, though some may find it workable. It also made my eyes a bit dry, red, and glassy.

Take a bite of Hash Burger

There are a lot of novelty cannabis with weird strain names, but Hash Burger offers more than an odd moniker. This variety provided me with much-needed stress relief and softened my joints a little. Though I would not go so far as calling it my favorite, Hash Burger is one that I will continue to pick up from my local dispensary. If it is on the menu, I highly recommend ordering a Hash Burger for yourself.
