Every holiday has its traditions. In July, Americans light fireworks. Come fall, it’s time to carve Jack-O-Lanterns. Now, in a world where more states have legal cannabis than not, it also means that companies release limited-edition holiday products.

Brands may lean into spooky season vibes with scary strain names and witchy weed accessories. Others might highlight autumnal ingredients in limited-edition flavor drops. This year, cannabis companies serve up Halloween and fall-themed products nationwide.

Timeless strains and vapes

The Timeless cannabis brand has made GreenState lists for its limited edition artist series vape cases and batteries. This October, they sourced a horror artist to perfectly complement the season. The brand teamed up with Bay Area artist Chad Keith on a fight artwork reminiscent of Chris Russell Creature skateboard deck with bold, bright skulls.

“My art is easy, trashy, and kind of a mixture of everything,” Keith said in a press release. “My parents let me watch all the gore movies growing up, we’d watch Chainsaw Massacre during Christmas and Faces of Death with my great grandma. For my Artist Legacy collaboration, I wanted something very eye-catching and a little horror-influenced, something neon, fun, and scary.”

Those who love the art can get in on the bundle complete with the flip case battery, a long-sleeved tee, stickers, and a pin.

The horror art vape set is not the only Halloween offering from the brand. Timeless re-released its Worms strain in AZ, CA, IL, MO, NJ, OH, and OK. The variety is a cross of Pink Starburst and Pineapple Express from Green Dot Labs. Those not into vaping can still get into the spooky spirit with Worms. Timeless is giving Halloween fans options.

W*tch B*tch Black Bong Candle

Bong Candles brings the funk with each flavor of soy wax that is novelly poured into a glass-on-glass bong or stash jar. This Halloweed, Bong Candles released the all-black W*tch B*tch candle that, once burned, becomes a bong.

Witches light black candles on Samhain, another holiday on October 31. Stoner witches will love this addition to their cauldron this year. The scent is a delectable mix of juicy berries and lime that does not overpower a space. However, my favorite part was the candle lighter.

The rechargeable electric lighter looks like a tiny taser longer than a pen, perfect for lighting the last of a votive candle. Come for the Halloween-themed candle that will eventually be a bong, and stay for the nifty lighter. We can all be a W*tch B*tch this year.

Alien Labs’s Dark Web

California cannabis brand Alien Labs was established in 2014 and is still kicking. This month the brand is thrilling customers with its Dark Web strain. Adults might opt for this candy-sweet variety over the morsels in a trick-or-treat bag this year. Dark Web boasts a sweet vanilla aroma with a hint of musky spice whirled into dense, trichome-laden buds. The last Halloween theme comes from the orange pistils all over the triangular buds. Settle into this mellow hybrid and enjoy a body buzz while handing out candy.

For the second year in a row, Embarc dropped the Devil’s Lettuce line, a THC-laden play on the horror of cannabis prohibition. The second annual themed drop includes mini-joints, three flower varieties, and live rosin-infused rollies. This line came out October 4, and features visuals playing on classic Reefer Madness tropes seen in the play and film.

Devil’s Lettuce Season Two flower flavors:

  • The Legend of Karen’s Secret Stash aka Jawbreakers
  • Night of the Freaky Frond aka Lemon Cherry Gelato
  • Curse of the Sinister Salad aka Black Cherry Gelato

Those in California can enjoy these cannabis products, and those outside aren’t left out. The Devil’s Lettuce tee features the iconic art from the Karen’s Secret Stash package with Embarc written in 1980s metal band typeface. Grab one before they are gone.

Grön is another elder weed brand established in 2015 in Oregon. The edibles company now has products in its home state along with Missouri, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio–including its Halloween collection. Phantom Pearls and Mystery MEGAs are made with real fruit and sans gluten or soy.

Phantom Pearls are sugar-coated white lychee lemonade flavor, and, they glow in the dark. Stock the Halloween party with these ghoulish gummies and watch the package illuminate under a black light.

“Halloween is a big deal at Grön, and we love having fun with this holiday,” said Christine Apple, founder and CEO of Grön, in a press release. “This year, we decided to bring that fun to life and infuse it into our products through these spooky new Phantom pearls.”

Mystery MEGAs are an indica gummy with an unknown flavor. It’s bringing white Airhead nostalgia for all of the Millenials out there. The brand plans to release the flavor later in the year. Until then, have fun guessing. Both products are available as of October 1st and contain 10 10 milligram candies totaling 100 mg THC per package.

The Hemper team never misses an opportunity to celebrate the holidays with cannabis accessories. This Halloween is no different. The Hemper Día De Los Muertos collection contains three thematic products: the Maraca Pipe, XL Catrín bong, and a Dulces Calavera (Sugar Skull) dab rig.

Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday celebrated November 1-2. It can sometimes be extended from October 31 to November 6. Families make an Ofrenda during this time where they place photos of their lost loved ones, the celebratory libations, candles, and dulces calaveras with the names of their dead written on the front.

The Hemper Sugar Skull rig features indents on each side, making holding it a bit ergonomic; the same goes for the Maraca pipe. It sits nicely in the hand with an egg-shaped bowl and air chamber connected to a thin stem and mouthpiece.

Wynk Cran-Blood THC seltzer

Cran-Blood, the newest THC seltzer flavor from Wynk, maybe a fall flavor, but the name is giving Halloween. This is also the first-ever seasonal flavor for the hemp-THC brand. Each 12-ounce can contain five mg of THC and five of CBD alongside a bubbly autumnal flavor profile.

WYNK uses natural flavors but not fresh fruit, which is noticeable but not in a bad way. It is crisp, tart, and adorably pink. This is a phenomenal ingredient for upcoming cannabis cocktail recipes or just for sippin’. Not to mention it is available in 32 states, many of which do not have regulated dispensaries.

Hometown Hero is an Austin, Texas-based CBD brand that has since entered the hemp-THC space. They released a Tiger’s Blood live rosin gummy for the holiday, but the scary stuff stops with the name.

Tiger’s Blood gummies are black and made with 25 mg per candy. They are indica-dominant and flavored with juicy strawberries, watermelon, and coconut. Throw in the orange-colored Blood Orange gummies for a Halloween Bundle.
