Comedy icons Cheech & Chong have long been celebrated for a rich contribution to stoner culture standup and eventually cult classic stoner movies. Since the last film hit theaters, Tommy Chong has built a name in weed. He has sold bongs and accessories along with various other endeavors. Meanwhile, Cheech Marin never stopped working in Hollywood, taking on dramatic roles with fanfare. Now, the old-school besties are partying once more with the Cheech & Chong Cannabis Company (C&C). C&C products are available at Cheech & Chong Dispensoria locations in New Mexico and Massachusetts. With this latest announcement, the brand is adding Oregon to the list.

Cheech & Chong Cannabis Company recently named Salem, Ore.-based DogHouse Farms as its official grower for the Oregon market.

“Selecting a partner for Cheech and Chong’s Cannabis is about more than just quality; it’s about aligning with those who share our values and passion for the plant,” Jonathan Black, C&C CEO, said in a press release. “DogHouse Farms stood out for their exceptional dedication to quality and deep-rooted commitment to the cannabis community.”

DogHouse Farms is a premium cannabis cultivator with products currently available in Michigan, Oregon, and Washington. The brand is also teasing a Florida expansion as “coming soon.” Genetics and phenohunting are the primary focus for the operation. Founder Jon Hudnall has been learning and sharing genetics with other farmers since the early 2000s. Cultivation and phenohunting ethos of the brand are rooted in that time, with the primary goal of capturing vibrant flavors and meaningful effects.

“When friends and legendary growers give me a rare seed, or I’m hunting and breeding new phenos, unlocking the journey & memories and coaxing delicious flavors from the flower is what it’s all about for me,” Hudnall said in a statement.

DogHouse Farms is known for varieties like the 2019 Oregon Grower’s Cup Winner Drool, Garlotto, Durban Cheese, and many more. Now, Oregon consumers can find these flavors and decades of work as the Cheech & Chong family. Hudnall is thrilled to be working with the dynamic duo after laughing along with their cinematic antics for decades.

“I’m having a ‘pinch me’ moment,” Hudnall concluded.
