Higher company: who are Ed Sheeran and Amy Sedaris smoking weed with?

Celebrities: they’re just like us, right? When it comes to smoking weed that seems to be the case. This week, a few celebs spilled the beans on seshing with their famous friends. Ed Sheeran recalled an epic smoke session with Snoop Dogg on the most recent Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. As many may guess, Snoop can puff tough.

The crooner met with Snoop backstage after the rapper’s concert in Melbourne, Australia. Sheeran confessed to Conan that he isn’t much of a weed smoker but didn’t want to miss the chance to light up with the legend.

Sheeran explains that he never seeks to force interactions with celebs he wants to meet, and he tried to play it cool with Snoop. It wasn’t until they were deep in a chat that the cannabis icon offered the red-headed singer some ganja.

“I don’t really smoke at all. I was in the dressing room, and they’re just [smoking] like blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt. I was like, I guess at some point during the night, I have to, just to say I smoked with Snoop Dogg.”

After enough passes in the blunt rotations, Sheeran realized just how high he had gotten. “I just remember looking at him (Snoop Dogg) and being like, I can’t see right now,” Sheeran told O’Brien.

Amy Sedaris made stoner headlines after serving as a guest “Travel Agent” at New York City dispensary Union Square Travel Agency. The actress is known for television out-of-pocket performances in Strangers with Candy and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She also makes hilarious appearances in some of her brother Dave Sedaris’ novels.

While serving ticketed guests, Sedaris spoke with David Caplan in an interview for 1010 WINS News about cannabis from every angle. She prefers to consume sativa flower from the Volcano vape. Like many people, she doesn’t mess with edibles after an overconsumption experience.

“I like edibles, I just can’t gauge how much is in there, and I never cook with weed. I’m not into that. Again, I don’t know how much is too much. I have had a bad experience. I ate a brownie before, I called my door man ‘Call an ambulance!’ He goes, ‘Amy, you’re having a bad trip,’” Sedaris explained.

The comedian states she loves to be creative and have ideas while high, but she never performs after consuming. She uses the plant to ideate, and sometimes she strikes gold. The “Hit and Run” episode of Strangers with Candy was inspired by watching a Lifetime show while high.

“You’ve got to give it a high test when you get a script. Let me read it high, and then I’ll let you know if this is funny,” said Sedaris.

The interview also covered which celebrity friends she likes to get high with. She shared that Justin Theroux will make fun of her once the weed kicks in. Bravo host Andy Cohen, on the other hand, is fun to imbibe with.

“Andy’s a lot of fun high … He really is like a little monkey, he gets really silly,” Sedaris said.

On her bucket list of people to light up with? British singer George Michael, for one. She also won’t turn down a puff with Natasha Lyonne if the opportunity arises.

Celebrity cannabis sessions are filled with giggles and snacks just like anyone else’s. That’s just another sign that the plant can bring anyone together on equal ground. With legalization making waves in every region celebs are feeling more comfortable talking about their consumption. Wonder who will exit the green closet next?
