Grasshopper Shake
The Grasshopper is a mint chocolate chip-flavored bev created in New Orleans’ French Quarter at the dawn of the 1920s. Since then, Americans have been riffing on the flavor profile, from pies to milkshakes. This cannabis-infused Grasshopper Shake embodies the best of this classic cocktail with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup lightly chopped fresh mint
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
- 5-10 mg THC powder
Gear:
- Blender
Directions:
Add ingredients to the blender, or immersion blender container, and blend until smooth. If it’s too thick, add milk 1 TB at a time until the desired consistency is reached. Pour into a mason jar, pop in a straw, and enjoy. For a dairy-free version, substitute dairy-free ice cream, chocolate chips, and milk.

Liquid Marijuana Drink
Surprisingly, the classic Liquid Marijuana Drink recipe doesn’t contain any weed. GreenState fixed that, developing a new way to shake up the bright green mocktail using flavored cannabis seltzer and non-alcoholic tequila. This version has a lighter color but also a less saccharine flavor as it uses fresh honeydew juice rather than melon syrup.
Ingredients:
- ½ ounce blue curaçao syrup
- ½ ounce Ritual zero-proof tequila
- ½ ounce fresh honeydew juice
- ½ ounce coconut water
- 4 ounces pineapple juice
- 8 ounces Happi Lime Mint (5 mg)
- Squeeze of fresh lemon and lime
Directions:
Add ingredients to the shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Pour into a highball glass and enjoy.
Cucumber Quencher
Cucumber, aloe vera, and mint are all great for staying hydrated. This green drink combines all three with an herbaceous cannabis seltzer in a weed drink, perfect for a sunny spring day.
Ingredients:
- 8-12 torn mint leaves
- 1 ounce cucumber juice
- 1 ounce aloe vera juice
- 1 can Cann Lemon Lavender (2.5 mg)
Directions:
Tear up, chop, and/or muddle mint leaves in a Collins Slim glass so that the green juices are coming out of the leaves. Pop a few ice cubes in. Add juices and seltzer, and stir. Garnish: for added flare, thinly slice a cucumber longways and press it horizontally against the side of the glass before adding ice.
