Must try viral food gets new THC take

Gelato canna co dubai chocolate: Herbal Cannabis growing freely In A Cannabis Shop In Thailand

Anyone who has spent time online in the last year has seen a video of someone cracking open a divine bar of crunchy, pistachio-filled chocolate. Dubai-based FIX Dessert Chocolate created the trend when it launched its “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” bars, featuring knafeh and pistachio encased in milk chocolate. TikTokers popularized the treat, and suddenly, everyone had to have one.

Those with the funds imported bars to try; they start around $45 to ship to the U.S. Others have opted to make them at home. Some companies have crafted U.S.-made versions, and one cannabis company decided to do the same with a little something called THC.

Gelato Canna Co Dubai chocolate is coming soon

Gelato Canna Co. recreated the viral bite for the Michigan cannabis market in two brand-new products that will be available on 4/20. It was a logical next step for the brand, CEO and co-founder George Sadler shared with GreenState.

“Gelato is known for its novelty edibles, so we felt this would fit right into what our customers have come to expect from us,” Sadler said.

The original uses milk chocolate as the shell with a colorful splattered design. Inside, pistachios combine with finely chopped crispy knafeh and tahini paste. It is thick and heavy and produces a lovely cross-section when broken apart. The Gelato version contains Turkish Antep pistachios, Kataifi thin pastry dough, cocoa butter, vanilla beans, and honey. Each is adorned with a colorful splatter decoration.

Two potencies are available. The smaller Dubai Bites are suggested at $25 and contain 20 milligrams (mg) of THC. One square is meant to be divided and shared for the desired dose. With gooey insides that leak out, it may not be one to save in the fridge for later. Those who do not want to eat 20 mg in a sitting may want to find a friend to share the treat.

High From Dubai is a 200 mg chocolate bar that comes in three flavors and is perforated into 10, 20 mg pieces; the suggested retail price is $30. The dark chocolate is an indica, milk chocolate caramel is a hybrid, and whiter chocolate provides a sativa effect. This may make some disappointed, as not all indica people would choose dark chocolate, and so on. Flavors aside, Gelato took a minute to perfect the bar.

“The research and development took almost a year to perfect,” explained Sadler. “This hasn’t been done before with cannabis, and there was a lot of trial and error along the way.”
