The Harvest chain of two retail dispensaries in San Francisco is lauded for its chic interiors filled with light and prettily packaged products. But Harvest’s operators have paid equal attention to the back of the house, where its lounges are cozy sanctuaries. Open to collective patients during events, Harvest’s lounges are otherwise reserved for dues-paying cannabis club members, who are vetted and approved by Harvest. No open-air, sports bar feel here: The charcoal-gray walls are accented by polished concrete floors, brown leather couches, armchairs, Oriental rugs and lockers for personal products. With their posh country club feel, Harvest’s lounges attract customers who put a premium on privacy.
